June Elaine Truax Percy
1932-2025
June Elaine Truax Percy, age 93, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, December 1, 2025.
Born, October 2, 1932, in Fulton County, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Bradie William and Lenore Theodosia O’Rourke Truax.
She was retired from London Fog Manufacturing in Hancock, Md., as a seamstress and a quality inspector.
June was the perfect match to her beloved Bob, who preceded her in death. She was known for her kindness and compassion. She loved deeply and was deeply loved.
In addition to her beloved husband, Robert D. Percy; she was preceded in death by one daughter, Melody D. Ruppenthall; three sons Timothy D. Percy, Robert F. Percy and James H. Percy; three sisters, Ruth Keefer, Lorraine Schetrompf and Vallie Schetrompf; four brothers, Lloyd Truax, Ray Truax, Virgil Truax and Lyle Truax.
She is survived by one daughter, Theresa Cole, and husband Ron, of Lexington, Ken.; three sons, John Boyle, and wife Deborah, of Hagerstown, Md., Robert Boyle, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., Charles Percy, and wife Wanda, of Great Cacapon, W.Va.; one son-in-law, Michael Ruppenthall of Smithsburg, Md.; one daughter-in-law, Mildred Percy of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.; one sister, Linda Ray of Hancock, Md.; one brother, Gene Truax of Hancock, Md.; twelve grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Services were held on Friday, December 5, 2025, at 12 p.m. at Grove-Rogowski Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock, MD 21750. Pastor Ron Cole officiated. Internment at Mays Chapel Cemetery in Warfordsburg, Pa.
Arrangements were entrusted to Grove-Rogowski Funeral Home.
