Panthers’ heartbreaker at home

Hancock High School boys’ basketball team came up short in a 69-65 loss against Forbes Road of Waterfall, Pa. in a home game on Saturday, December 6.

The Panthers showed a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances.

Junior Hunter Kerns shot 58% from the field, racking up 18 points for the Panthers.

Junior Colton Welch posted 22 points for Hancock.

Junior Caden Miller contributed nine points to the home team.

Senior Ethan Hill threw up seven points, and the rest of the team pitched in.

Head coach is Hancock High School alumnus Rocky Wills, who has extensive coaching experience.

This Friday, December 12, the Panthers boys’ basketball team travels to Garrett County to face off against the Northern Huskies. Tip off is at 6:30 p.m.
