Southern Fulton Elementary School has been the victim of a check forgery and counterfeiting scheme, according to Pennsylvania State Police who are investigating the incident.
According to police, sometime between January 16, 2026 and March 17, 2026, an unknown person intercepted a check mailed from the Southern Fulton School District and changed the name of the payee, attempting to redirect $40,068 from the school to their personal use.
