The Hancock Panthers track team ended its season last week as it competed in the Maryland 1A West Regional meet in Smithsburg on Wednesday, May 13, and Friday, May 15.

Coach Greg Cartrette said Leland Clark set a personal best in the discus, placing eighth. Landyn Clark placed fifth in the triple jump.

Cartrette said each student-athlete put in great work this season, making it a great season to build on.

There were also two seniors Cartrette wanted to acknowledge as well.

Cartrette recognized Landyn Clark and Ethan Hill for being a part of the team and their leadership with their teammates.
