Ruth Elizabeth Stotler

Ruth Elizabeth Stotler, 70, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va. passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at War Memorial Hospital in Berkeley Springs, W.Va.

Born on September 10, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Theodore Arthur “Pete” and Mary Ethel Plummer Ganoe.

Ruth was a graduate of Berkeley Springs High School.

She was employed as a massage therapist with the Berkeley Springs State Park.

She was a member of the Word of Deliverance Church in Berkeley Springs and enjoyed board and card games.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Douglas Stotler, two daughters, Heather Dawn Kesner and KriShanda Lane Stotler, four grandchildren, Hunter Kesner, Missy Kesner, Abbi Ginck and Harmoni Fleegle, one step grandchild, Brooke Kesner and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Evelyn Leona Harden.

Funeral services will be conducted at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs, W.Va. with Pastor Lisa Unger officiating.

The family will receive friends at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs, WV on Thursday, April 30, 2026 from 1-3 and 5 p.m. until service time.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at the Word of Deliverance Church, 21 Honeycrest Court, Berkeley Springs, W.Va. Private burial will be in Harden Family Cemetery, Berkeley Springs, W.Va.
