Dennis William Lewis, Jr., 58, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2026 at his home in Berkeley Springs, W.Va.

Born on March 19, 1968 in Baltimore, Md. he was the son of the late Dennis William Lewis, Sr. and Georgia Lou Meile Byrne.

Dennis was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Berkeley Springs, WV.

He was a machine operator in the manufacturing industry.

He enjoyed drawing, fishing, being in nature and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Tina Louise Reils Lewis, five children, Crystal Lyn Lewis, Jessica Marie Robinson (Lou), Dennis William Lewis III, Brandon Lee Lewis and Joshua Charles Lewis, three grandchildren, Hailey Nicole Robinson, Tyler Johnson Robinson and Alaina Liann Robinson, two brothers, Joseph Anthony Lewis and Michael Edward Lewis and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Richard John “Dick” Byrne.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on Friday, May 1, 2026 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 67 Liberty Street, Berkeley Springs, W.Va. with the Rev. Fr. J. Stephen Vallelonga as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery, Hancock, Md.

The family will receive friends at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs, WV on Thursday, April 30, 2026 from 3-7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
