Gordon-Ann King

1935-2026

Gordon-Ann King, age 90, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at War Memorial Hospital.

Born April 20, 1935 in Tampa, Fla., she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Eunice Clark Sumner.

She graduated from Tampa High School and went to receive her master’s degree in elementary education.

Gordon-Ann enjoyed reading and watching old movies.

Gordon-Ann is survived by her son, Sumner Jarrell King of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.; one sister, Kitty; two granddaughters, Paige King and Hailey King; one great granddaughter, August King-Lyle and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray King and two sisters, Bertha and Lois.

Services and burial will be private.
