by Geoff Fox

The Hancock Panthers track team had a decent showing at the North Hagerstown Coaches Open last Wednesday, April 1, but lost a key component to the team at the same time.

Coach Greg Cartrette said he and Coach Brittany Waugh are very happy with the achievements of each of their student-athletes and they are improving with each meet and event.

“They are gaining valuable knowledge that will help them [excel] in their track knowledge and experience,” Cartrette said.

At the North Hagerstown meet, Leland Clark took first place in the Disc event and Ethan Hill took sixth in the event.
