Joyce Marie Mincher
1948-2026
Joyce Marie Mincher (Lease), 77, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at home while under the care of Hospice of the Panhandle.
Born November 9, 1948, in Baltimore City, Md., she was the daughter of the late Robert Stewart and Mildred Catherine Smith Lease.
She was very generous and kindhearted to everybody she met. No matter what situation, she was there when needed.
Joyce had many hobbies she liked but mostly enjoyed bingo, bowling, playing cards and board games. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and taking care of them.
Joyce is survived by her son Ernest Mincher, Jr. and his wife, Erin and their three children, Courtney Holt (Trevor) and their two children, Sophia and Lucas, Jakob Mincher (Amber Reatherford) and their three children, Kinley, Harlyn and Baylor, Katelyn Mincher and her fur baby Chief, her daughter, Sherry Mincher and her two children, Kristen Staley (Bradley), Terry Faith Jr. and their father, Terry Faith, Sr., her son, William Robert Mincher and his significant other, Tasha Miller and her daughter, Brianna Fox, her brothers and sisters, Brenda, Sandy, Charlene, Bobby, Butchy, Raymond and David.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Ernest Roger “Duke” Mincher, Sr. and one brother, Dee Lease.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
