Mother Nature teased spring like weather this past weekend but quickly reminded us it’s still winter for another couple weeks with snow showers and wintry mix on Monday, March 2. The snow was sticking to grass and plastics, such as the playground equipment at Widmeyer Park, and the occasional roof. The snow didn’t last very long as it changed to rain later in the day with temperatures above or near freezing. According to the National Weather Service, every day through the end of the week has a chance of rain. The highlight, though, comes on Thursday and Friday as the highs for both days are forecasted to be in the low 70s and the Weather Channel keeping the 70s through next Wednesday.
