Lavana M. Miller
1932-2026
Lavana Michael Miller, age 93, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026 at the Berkeley Springs Healthcare Center.
Born November 20, 1932 in Morgan County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Harold Edward and Jeffery Ambrose Michael.
Lavana married the love of her life, James Lester Miller on July 8, 1950 in Hancock, Md.
She was a member of Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church.
Lavana attended Morgan County schools. She was a homemaker to her husband and family.
Lavana is survived by her husband of 75 years James Lester Miller at home, children, James Bradley Miller (Kim) of Falling Waters, W.Va., Mark Alan Miller (Terry) and Kenneth Lane Miller (Cookie) all of Berkeley Springs, W.Va. and Carol Marie Fait (Terry) of Paw Paw, W.Va., two sisters, Ruella Brannon and Diane Lynn Bolinger, both of Cross Junction, Va., one brother, Junior Lee Michael of Hagerstown, Md., six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, one great great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, William Robert Michael.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Monday, February 23, 2026 at Mt. Olivet Church Cemetery, 6758 Winchester Grade Road, Berkeley Springs, W.Va. with Pastor Lisa Unger officiating.
