Bryan Patrick Logsdon

1981-2026

Bryan Patrick Logsdon, 44, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2026.

He was born on October 29, 1981, in Naples, Italy.

Bryan’s larger‑than‑life personality touched many lives. He always lent a listening ear and was quick to console others, even strangers. His ability to make everyone laugh and feel special was one of his greatest gifts.

Bryan was also considered a modern‑day Dr. Dolittle, given how naturally animals were drawn to his spirit.

Bryan is survived by his parents: Patrick Logsdon (Donna) and Cynthia Young (John); his sister, Shanna Taylor (Matt); his brothers, Logan Waddle (Amanda) and Jake Parker (Brittney); along with a combination of seven nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind a large extended family and many friends across the world.

Bryan graduated from Berkeley Springs High School in June 2000 and quickly joined the U.S. Navy in July 2000, where he served for six years and was honorably discharged as a Cryptologic Maintenance Technician Second Class (CTM2). He then attended West Virginia University, where he played football as a Mountaineer tight end and participated in three bowl games. While at WVU, he also served four years in the Army National Guard. Bryan graduated from WVU with a degree in criminology. Most recently, he worked for Procter & Gamble as a robotics technician and served on their emergency response team.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026, at Helsley‑Johnson Funeral Home, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs, W.Va. Pastor Kraig Bishop will officiate. Visitation will be from 12-2 p.m., with a service beginning at 2 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the WVU Mountaineer Alumni Association – Fund 2V155 via https://give.wvu.edu/give/416240/#!/donation/checkout.
