Alexander J. Walker, Jr.
1935-2026
Alexander Joseph Walker, Jr., age 90, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at his home while under the care of Grane Hospice in Three Springs, Pa.
Born August 21, 1935, he was the son of the late Alexander Joseph Walker, Sr. and Lena Majeski Walker.
He attended Baltimore County schools and went on to earn his AA degree in Engineering from Baltimore Community College.
He was a civil engineer with the City of Baltimore and worked as a draftsman with a survey firm when he lived in Florida.
He was a Jehovah’s Witness. He was a member of the Photography Club and enjoyed faceting gemstones, fishing, hunting, gardening and stamp collecting.
He is survived by his wife, Florence Joyce Mettee Walker; one son, Kenneth J. Walker (Deb), Three Springs, Pa.; one daughter, Laura Lewis, Charolette, Fla.; one brother, Anthony Walker, seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Susan Menhenick and one sister, Amelia Kutz.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
