by Lisa Schauer

On Thursday, January 22, the Hancock Panthers boys’ basketball team fought for a tight 62-60 victory over the Faith Christian Academy Falcons of Martinsburg at home.

The win tasted sweet after the team endured a late loss during the fourth quarter dropping 69-74 to the Maryland School for the Deaf in Frederick last Tuesday.

Tonight, the Panthers (4-10) were scheduled to host a home conference game versus Northern Garrett at 7 p.m., weather permitting.

The Panthers’ next home game will be on Monday, February 2 versus New Life Christian of Frederick.

Tip-off is at 6:30 p.m. at Hancock High School.
