Three top tier finishes for Panther track & field at County Championship

by Geoff Fox

Three Panthers finished within the top eight of their respective events during the Washington County Indoor Track and Field County Championship last Friday, January 16, at Hagerstown Community College (HCC).

This meet was the most successful of the team’s five indoor track meets this year as three athletes finished with top eight  finishes, four new personal records, and one new season record, said team officials.

Coaches said they are so proud of everyone on the team.

The event also marked senior day for the team and Landyn Clark, the team’s only senior, was recognized.

Hancock Panthers’ Indoor Track team’s lone senior Landyn Clark was recognized during Senior Day at the Washington County Indoor Track and Field County Championship last Friday, January 16, at HCC.
