Rotary to host fundraiser trivia contest again

by Geoff Fox

The Hancock Rotary is hosting a trivia contest on Sunday, February 1, at the Hancock American Legion at 2 p.m.

Rotary is inviting other clubs and groups to test their trivia prowess against them and others in the tri-state area and beyond.

The contest is delivered by TriState Trivia with Randy Means and hosted by Hancock Rotary.

The trivia contest is a Hancock Rotary Foundation fundraiser with half the proceeds going to eliminate polio and the other half going to other Hancock Rotary Club projects.

Each person pays an entry fee with teams holding up to six persons.

Team tables can be reserved by emailing [email protected] or calling 717-294-6186.

Organizers said food and drink will be available to purchase at the Legion and the venue large, so people can sit comfortably.

They also said it’s a chance for your group or organization to achieve bragging rights and accept a winner’s award on behalf of the team.

“Come join us for a bit of mid-winter entertainment and the chance to socialize and share a laugh and a challenge or two!!” organizers said on their flyer.

Informational requests can be directed to the above email.
