Dorothy Lee Luttrell
1928-2025
Dorothy Lee Luttrell, age 97, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at the Berkeley Springs Center.
Born October 8, 1928 in Frederick County, Va., she was the daughter of the late, Everett Oscar and Edna Lee Stotler.
She was a member of Greenwood United Methodist Church where she was active and sang in the choir.
Dorothy was a graduate of Gainesboro High school.
She worked as a seamstress with Vanguard and was a homemaker to her family.
Dorothy was a member of South Morgan Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary.
She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family and friends.
Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Ronda Sue Michael (Mark) and Paula Lee Courtney (Anthony) all of Berkeley Springs, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, three great great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Paul Luttrell, one daughter, Betty Jean Ward, three sisters, Lettie Dick, Hilda Murphy and Irene Wines and five brothers, Lloyd Stotler, Elwood Stotler, Hershell Stotler, Russell Stotler, Winaris Stotler and one infant brother.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 9, 2026 at Greenwood Chapel, 12031 Winchester Grade Road, Berkeley Springs, W.Va. Pastor Rev. Dr. Dennis Jackman will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. & 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs, W.Va. and one hour prior to services on Friday at the church.
