Roger Dale Lacy

Roger Dale Lacy Roger Dale Lacy, 68, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., passed away on November 1, 2025.

Roger was known for his big heart, his love of the open road, and his passion for motorcycles—especially his beloved Harley-Davidson. A true biker at heart, he found peace and freedom in every ride. He was also a gifted auto/MC painter who took great pride in his work.

Over the years, Roger worked alongside his parents, Kenneth and Dorothy Lacy, at Lacy’s Disposal in Bartonville, Ill.

Roger had a way of drawing people in—he was a natural storyteller who could make anyone laugh or listen for hours. His presence filled a room, and people naturally gravitated toward his warmth, humor, and easygoing nature. Above all, Roger loved his family deeply.

He is survived by his son Jeremie (Tamara) Dean, his daughter Shauna Lacy (Steven) Jimenez, and his four cherished grandchildren—Chase Dean, Jada Dean, Jocelyn Jimenez, and Mando Jimenez—who were the light of his life.

Roger will be remembered for his generous spirit, his love for the open highway, and the countless stories and memories he shared with family and friends. His laughter, kindness, and adventurous soul will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Services will be private.
