Lady Panthers fall to Rams, closing “wow” volleyball season

Hancock High School varsity volleyball team lost their home conference match against the Southern Rams of Oakland by a score of 3-0 last Wednesday, October 29.

The lady Panthers wrapped up their season with a solid record of seven wins to nine losses.

“Yes, our season has ended but wow — what a season!  Hancock is really proving to be a force to be reckoned with.  These girls are showing that they deserve to be recognized for their dedication to the sport. The season maybe over but they are going to continue getting their hands on a ball and growing their skills to be even better next season,” said Coach Christi Mosier.

Hancock High School varsity volleyball team include senior Kaydence Gaither; juniors Taylor Weller, Kaybree Souders, Maya Shoemaker and Azalee Souders; sophomores Payton McMahon, Laylah Golden, Makensie Boyer, Madison Booth and Sarah Smith.

Head coach is Christi Mosier. Assistant coach is Kristen Miller.
