1947-2025

Connie Vera Hovermale, age 78, of Big Pool, Md. died on Friday, October 31, 2025 at War Memorial Hospital in Berkeley Springs, W.Va.

Born May 28, 1947 in Hancock, Md. she was the daughter of the late Clarence Pryor and the late Carrie Catherine Hoyle Easton Pryor.

She was of the Protestant faith.

Connie graduated from Hancock High School in Hancock, Md.

She was employed as an office manager in the HVAC industry.

She loved horseback riding, side by sides, camping and family and friends. Her other love was motorcycles and she took a cross-country trip on one to California and back. Her famous words were “Give me five minutes to get ready to go.”

Connie is survived by her daughter, Angela Mae Earle (Jon) of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., her companion of 18 years, Gary Hill of Needmore, Pa. and his children, Tera Elder (Greg) and Kristi Whiteside (Marc) all of Warfordsburg, Pa., one daughter-in-law, Erica Richelle Hovermale of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., eleven grandchildren, Ben (Shannon), Jess (Danny), Cohen (Megan), Preston (Brittney), Gavin (Harlee), Holden, Caleb, Andrea, Alden, Brooke (Collin) and Jessie (Nate), eleven great grandchildren, Zeke, Naomi, Hazel, Weston, Asher, Ariella, Crew, Eze, Leah, Mack and Charley and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, James Eric “Jimmy” Hovermale, one sister, Mary Elizabeth Faraclas and four brothers, John William Easton, Eugene Kelly Easton, Robert Lee Easton and Donald Wayne Pryor.
