1962-2025

Lori Rosamond, 63, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., passed away peacefully on Friday, October 17, 2025.

Born on April 6, 1962, Lori was the daughter of Curt Barnhill and the late Caren Eakes.

She worked for The Village of Orchard Ridge, where her compassion and kindness touched everyone she met.

Lori lived a life filled with love, laughter and service. She served her community as a volunteer EMT with the Evergreen Volunteer Fire & Rescue Squad for 23 years.

She was an active member of her church and proudly served in the local Lions Club, dedicating her time to helping others. Lori loved life’s simple joys—spending time at the beach and camping, creating lasting memories with her family and friends.

Lori will be remembered most for her caring heart, gentle spirit, and the deep love she had for those around her.

She is survived by her daughter, Sara (Jared) Fishback, and her cherished grandson, Tommy Fishback; her father Curt (Lucy) Barnhill; and many dear friends and extended family.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Caren Eakes, and her brother, Curt A. Barnhill.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, Berkeley Springs, W.Va.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Village at Orchard Ridge Benevolent Care Fund in Lori’s memory.

Lori’s legacy of love, service, and compassion will continue to inspire everyone who knew her.
