Delma M. Fletcher
1933-2025
Delma M. (Miller) Fletcher 91 of Little Orleans, Md., passed away Sunday, October 12, 2025, at Moran Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Westernport, Md.
She was born on December 19, 1933, in Purcel, Pa.; a daughter of the late Fred C. and Hazel B. (Smith) Miller.
On March 1, 1954, she married Boyd L. Fletcher and then along with her father they built a home in Little Orleans, Md. He preceded her in death on August 13, 2019.
She is survived by her niece Carol G. Riggleman, Little Orleans, Md. (wife of late Robert S. Riggleman) and daughters Bobbie, Annette, and Misti. Nieces and nephews, Cheryl L. (Norbert) Sperlich, Gilbert Miller (Denise), John Miller, Jr., Joan (Thomas) Scagilone, Allan Fletcher (Wilma) of Maryland. She had three godchildren; Terri (Gerley) Poulson, Brandi (Gerley) Romero and Mike Myers as well as many other nieces and nephews who she thought of as her own.
Delma graduated from Everett Area High School, was the first Avon Lady in the Orleans area and retired from London Fog Manufacturing, Hancock, Md. She then went onto to sew mug mats for Alices Cottage.
She enjoyed life to the fullest with her fun-loving personality and always up for good time.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her three brothers: John H., Charles L., and Ivan (Fuzzy) Miller.
Funeral Services will be held at Fairview Christian Church in Artemas, Pa. on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at 12 noon. Visitation will be held two hours prior of the service and Reverend Milton Morris will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Fairview Christian cemetery, in Artemas, Pa. Pallbearers are Brian Yonker, Adam Yonker, Chad Yonker, Roy Fletcher, Lee Lowery, John Allen Fletcher and Irvin Kerns.
