The Lady Panthers varsity softball team overwhelmed the Forbes Road Cardinals last Wednesday, April 2 with what seemed to be unstoppable scoring.
Hancock led off with four runs in the first inning, followed up by 14 runs in the second and three additional runs in the third before the mercy rule pulled the plug on further play.
Forbes Road added a single run in the first, two runs in the second and another run in the third, but had no hope of catching up against the Panthers.
Madison Booth topped Panther scoring with four runs, followed by Alyssa Keefer with three, Sydney True with three, Madi Trumpower with three runs.
Every team member added a run to their scorecard during the game.
Brooklyn McCusker led hitting for the Panthers with three hits.
The Lady Panthers will face off against Southern Fulton tonight, April 9 at 4:30 p.m. and will play Turkeyfoot Valley Area on Friday at home.
