Cathy Ann Faith
1948-2025
Cathy Ann (Seville) Faith, 76, of Hancock, Md., passed away on February 21, 2025 at home.
Born April 27, 1948, in Hancock, she was lifelong resident of her hometown.
She was 1966 graduate of Hancock High School and dedicated much of her life to being a homemaker.
Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and delving into genealogy, a passion that connected her to both past and present generations.
Cathy was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she found faith and community throughout her life.
She is survived by her children: Michael Patrick Faith, David Anthony Faith, Elizabeth Ann Golden, Carrie Rebecca Farris, 14 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and multiple nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents William Gilmore Seville and Mildred Elizabeth Culp Seville, her brothers William Kendall Seville and Larry Colin Seville, and her great niece Rachel Elizabeth Divelbiss.
A Celebration of Life will be on February 27, 2025 from 6 p.m to 8 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 200 Douglas Street Hancock, Md.
Cathy’s love for family and history will be cherished by those who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to all those who mourn her passing.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Cathy’s memory may be made to Hospice of Washington County.
