Gail Lynn Croston, age 48, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at her home.
Born September 10, 1976 in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., she was the daughter of Fern Lola Waugh Youngblood of Berkeley Springs, W.Va. and the late Kenneth Eugene Merchant, Sr.
She was a Christian.
Gail was a graduate of James Rumsey Technical Institute and earned her culinary arts certificate and her CDL certification.
She worked as an over the road truck driver with FedEx in Hagerstown, Md.
Gail enjoyed crocheting, playing with her dogs and doing arts and crafts.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughters, Brooke Elizabeth Shambaugh and Paige Liberty Faith and her stepmother, Jo Ann Merchant, all of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., one sister, Tinia Merchant of East Freedom, Pa., three brothers, Kenneth “Lil Kenny” Merchant II, Kevin Merchant and Kyle Merchant, all of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, John Leo Youngblood.
Services and interment will be private.
