Virgil Joseph “Rocky” Miller, Jr., age 71, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family and while under the Hospice of the Panhandle.

Born January 25, 1953 in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., he was son of the late Virgil Joseph Miller, Sr. and the late Mary Anna Lee Crosen Kirch.

He was a Christian. Rocky served with the United States Army and the United States Air Force until his honorable discharge.

He worked as an operator with the US Silica until his retirement.

Rocky was a member of the Jr. O.U.A.M. Council #117 and member of 304 Wild Hogs where he was active with special events for kids.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and loved spending time with his family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Rocky is survived by his children, Lisa Proctor, Butch Miller and Jake Miller (Redena), two brothers, Dale Jerome Miller and Kenneth Wayne Miller, five grandchildren, Jacob Stotler, Brittany Miller and her companion, Robert Pugh, Courtney Miller and her companion, Mike Singer, Harlie Stotler and Alisha Miller and her companion, Matthew Watson, 11 great-grandchildren, Chloe Taylor, Kaelie Stotler, Jaxson Stotler, John “JP” Miller, Brian “Junny” Malinowski, Emma Kelley, Gabriella “Gabby” Miller, Brilie Malinowski, Braxton Malinowski, Willow Singer and Dutton Singer, stepfather, Terry John Kirch and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 51 years, Eileene Faye Youngblood Miller, one granddaughter, Lexus Miller and three brothers, Robert Edgar Miller, Roger Anthony Miller and Donald William Crosen.

Services and interment will be private.
