Millie Louise Weller, born September 28, 1935, in Big Cove Tannery, Pa., passed away on Monday, November 18, 2024, in Chambersburg, Pa.
Her parents, Bessie Barthalow Gordon and John Mac Gordon preceded her. Also preceding her were two sisters, Mary Johnson and Evelyn Onusko and two brothers, Boyd Gearhart and Charles Gearhart. She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-one years, Frank “Sonny” Weller.
She is survived by her son, Robert Weller of Warfordsburg, Pa., and her daughter, Donna Beale and husband David of Warfordsburg, Pa.; four grandchildren, Christy Sears and husband Jonathan, Dawn Beale, Stephanie Fost and husband Brooks, Joshua Beale and wife Caroline; four great grandchildren, Caroline and Carter Sears, Linden and Hays Fost.
Millie’s life revolved around her family, faith and friends.
She was a member of Orchard Ridge Church.
She enjoyed reading Christian novels, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.
Services were held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 12 p.m. at Orchard Ridge First Church of God, 14128 Orchard Ridge Road, Hancock, MD 21750. Pastor Jeff Hawbaker and Pastor Bill Croteau officiated. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Millie’s name can be made to Orchard Ridge First Church of God.
Arrangements were entrusted to Grove-Rogowski Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock, MD 21750.
