Truck incident blocks U.S. 522 bridge crossing

An accident involving a tractor-trailer carrying an oversized load caused the U.S. 522 bridge to be closed for several hours last Thursday evening, November 14.

According to Maryland State Police, as the tractor-trailer was crossing the bridge, the oversized load on trailer shifted and another vehicle hit the load. The load was reportedly parts of a prefab building package.
