Angela M. Shoemaker
1970-2024
Angela M. Shoemaker, age 53, of Hancock, Md., passed away Friday, October 25, 2024, at her home.
Born Wednesday, December 2, 1970, in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., she was the daughter of Rebecca Keefer Shoemaker and the late Alphonse Shoemaker.
Angela was a graduate of Hancock High School, class of 1988.
She worked for Caldwell Manufacturing in Williamsport, Md. for nine years. Previously, she worked at Radio Shack Warehouse, Staples Distribution Center and the Park-N-Dine Restaurant in Hancock, Md.
She loved dogs and enjoyed watching NASCAR and the Washington Capitals. Angela always loved wearing her tie dye tee shirts. She always enjoyed accompanying her mother to the Warfordsburg Senior Center.
Angela was preceded in death by her father, Alphonse Shoemaker.
She is survived by her mother, Rebecca Keefer Shoemaker; four sisters, April Davis and husband Richard of Hancock, Md., Lori Ammons of Hagerstown, Md., Arlene Rhodes of Hancock, Md., and Karen Rohm of Warfordsburg, Pa.; one brother, Randy Shoemaker and wife Donna of Hancock, Md.; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends including Angela’s “BFF” Evelyn.
The family received friends on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Grove-Rogowski Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock, Md. 21750. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Grove-Rogowski Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Pastor Jeff Hawbaker will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Stone Bridge Church Cemetery, 14904 Orchard Ridge Road, Hancock, Md. 21750, with fellowship after.
