Ronald Lee Beddow
1940-2024
Ronald “Harvey” Lee Beddow, age 84, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Winchester Medical Center.
Born June 19, 1940 in Brosius, W.Va., he was the son of the late Lee Alonza and Sarah Rosalie Lafollette Beddow.
He attended Alpine Bible Church. Ronald attended Berkeley Springs High School.
Harvey worked as a plasterer in the construction industry. He was a member of the Union Plasterers Local 96 in Washington, D.C. Ronald enjoyed hunting, fishing, listening to old country music and loved spending time with his family. H
arvey is survived by two children, Kirk Lee Beddow and his wife, Ramona and Stephanie Ann Beddow, all of Berkeley Springs, one sister, Patty Nolan and her husband Russell, Little Orleans, Md., one brother, Gary Wayne Beddow and his wife, Michele of Pleasantville, Pa., two grandchildren, Hannah Leigh Beddow and Bethany Dawn Kursey and her husband, Brooks and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Arlene Schetrompf Beddow, four sisters, Donna Jean Decker, Phyllis Ivalee Jackson, Marna Apple, Lola Stanley and one infant sister, one brother, James R. Beddow and one infant brother.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Berkeley Springs, W.Va. Pastor Kenny Mason will officiate. Private burial will be in Alpine Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until service time on Thursday at the funeral home.
