There are a few days coming up in October Hancock Middle-Senior High School would like families to remember.
—October 11 is a two-hour early dismissal day.
—October 15 is a PSAT for 9th and 10th graders.
—October 15 is the monthly food pantry.
—October 18 is Association Day, no school.
—October 21 through November 1 is the Marianna’ s Sub Fundraiser. All funds go toward VIP trips.
—October 21-25 is Spirit Week.
—October 21 is Meet the Team Night hosted by Martha’s House.
—October 23 is Shepherd University visit for 11th and 12th graders.
—October 25 is Panther
Prowl Walkathon. It is open to everyone and a fundraiser for the cheerleaders.
—October 25 is the Homecoming game vs Brownsville at 7 p.m.
—October 26 is the Homecoming Dance from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The Hancock Panthers band will also be active during the month of October with four dates on their calendar:
—October 8 at South Hagerstown and the Showcase of Marching Bands.
—October 12 in Berkeley Springs for the Apple Butter Festival Parade.
—October 28 in Mercersburg for the Mercersburg Halloween Parade.
—October 30 in Hancock for the Hancock Halloween Parade.
