William H. Woodal

William “Bill” H. Woodal, 75, of Needmore, Pa. peacefully passed away on September 12, 2024.

Bill attended Southern Fulton High School. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the United States Air Force, serving during the Vietnam War.

He was stationed in Dover, Delaware, as a jet engine mechanic, specializing in the maintenance and repair of the Lockheed C5 Galaxy engine. After his time in the Air Force, he spent over 30 years as a proud truck driver, meeting countless friends along his journey across the country.

In his spare time and into retirement, he enjoyed putting together model cars and going out to eat with family and friends.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and June Woodal; and his brother, David L. Woodal. He is survived by three children, Chance Woodal and wife, Katie; Cajan Reed and husband, Scott; Celena Kospiah and husband, Shaun; five grandchildren, Litton, Lilli, Lalei, Poppy and Lena, whom he was a proud “Happy” and “Pappy” to; his sister, Jackie Carnell; and two nieces and two nephews.

Arrangements were entrusted to Grove-Rogowski Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock, Md.
