Elizabeth Anne Trask
1939-2024
Elizabeth Anne (Betty) Trask, age 84, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Friday, September 6, 2024, in Charles Town, W.Va.
Born September 13, 1939, in Toronto, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Florence Anne Rightmyer.
Betty moved with her family to the U.S. as a teenager, and later attended Bob Jones University in Greenville, S.C.
She worked for the IRS for ten years and then as a church secretary.
She enjoyed crocheting, playing piano and reading. She was a great lover of dogs and was recently predeceased by her beloved Katie.
Betty is survived by two sons, Brian Scott (Leslie), West Hartford, Conn. and Stephen Scott (Karen), Charles Town, W.Va., one daughter, Joi Reeves (Archie), Gulfport, Miss., one brother, Donald Clive (Celine), Raleigh, N.C. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Brandon (Mandy), David (Emily), Andy (Hannah), Amy, Alex and John, and three great grandchildren, Zander, Lena and Eleanor.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at noon on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Union Chapel United Methodist Church, 10123 Valley Road Berkeley Springs, W.Va.
