Gretchen Lee Largent
1939-2024
Gretchen Lee Largent, age 85, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., went to her enternal reward on Monday, August 26, 2024 in Frederick County, Va.
Born July 8, 1939 in Morgan County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Aletka Calvert.
Gretchen was a high school graduate. She was a line technician and retired from National Fruit. She loved helping others and spending time with her family.
Gretchen is survived by her spouse, Lyle Francis “Pete” Dawson, two sons, Jimmy Largent and William Largent, two step children, Randy Dawson and Allan Robinson, her former spouse, James Largent and four cousins, Eric Hobday, Sylvia Moore, Hilda Mannatto and Peter Hobday.
Services will be conducted at 4 p.m. on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs, W.Va. with Pastor Kenny Heironimus officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.
