Billy Douglas Dunn
1940-2024
With great sadness we announce the passing of Billy Douglas Dunn 84 of Hancock, Md.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Hazel Ann Dunn and one sister, Tina Alley of Mosheim, Tenn., two sons, Sgt. M. Douglas Dunn, Ret. of Martinsburg, W.Va. and Paul Dunn of Damascus, Md.; an adopted daughter, Jean Bloom of Gaithersburg, Md. and preceeded in death by one daughter, Kelly Brown of Mt. Airy, Md.
He had a great love for family especially grandchildren, was an avid fisherman and auto racing fan.
Bill was a 30 year employee of the National Park Service and a Certified Arborist. The Tidal Basin Cherry Trees, the White House Grounds and the National Christmas Tree were part of his job, which he loved. He was also an ex-Marine. He will be missed forever.
