Fall sports kick off at Hancock High School

The fall 2024 sports season officially begins on Wednesday, August 14 with practice at Hancock High School.

This year, varsity football, varsity volleyball, and junior varsity volleyball will be offered.

Coach Ron Hare returns as head football coach for the Panthers. Assistant coaches Perry Kennedy, Rocky Wills, and Todd Ruppenthal, along with volunteer coaches Scott Buskirk and Arnold Vincent round out the football coaching staff.

Varsity volleyball coach is Christy Mosier, returning for her second season. Joining her is junior varsity volleyball coach Kristen Miller, a WCPS teacher in her first year coaching.

Hancock High School students in grades 9 through 12 can sign up to play through August 12.
