Mary Louise Clevenger
1949-2024
Mary Louise Clevenger, age 75, of Warfordsburg, Pa. passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at Laurel Lakes Nursing Home, Chambersburg, Pa.
Born March 5, 1949, in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Donald and Betty Farris Whisner.
Mary enjoyed gardening and was an avid reader. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was a graduate of Berkeley Springs High School, Class of 1967.
She is survived by one son, John Clevenger of Warfordsburg, Pa.; one daughter, Tammy Clevenger of Warfordsburg, Pa.; one grandson, Tommy Brown; one granddaughter, Mikayla Clevenger; one brother, Roger Whisner of Great Cacapon, Wv.; one sister, Kay Nesbitt of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.; one niece, Tia Swain; and two nephews, Roddy Whisner and Tad Hendershot.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband John Clevenger, Sr. and two sisters, Dinah Hendershot, and Shirley Whisner.
A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
