Earl Clifton “JR” Stinebaugh, Jr., age 75, of Great Cacapon, W.Va., died on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at Winchester Medical Center.
Born September 6, 1948 in Great Cacapon, W.Va., he was the son of the late Earl Clifton Stinebaugh, Sr. and the late Eileen M. Corbin Stinebaugh Barnhart.
He attended schools in Morgan County, W.Va.
JR worked as an equipment operator with U.S. Silica in Berkeley Springs, W.Va.
He was a member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #1483 and the Teamsters Union. J
R enjoyed hunting, gardening and fishing.
JR is survived by his children, Earl Clifton “Jay” Stinebaugh III and his wife, Glenda of Franklin, Va. and Teri Gunther of Hedgesville, W.Va., one brother, Thomas Roy “Tucker” Stinebaugh of Great Cacapon, two granddaughters, Ella Gunther and Erica Niles and her husband, Kyle, one aunt, Irene McFadden, two great-grandchildren, Kaleb Niles and Lainey Niles and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Judith Ann Stinebaugh.
Services and burial will be private.
