Sandra Kay Ottaviano, age 69, of Great Cacapon, W.Va., died on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at War Memorial Hospital in Berkeley Springs, W.Va.
Born August 16, 1954 in Berkeley Springs, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Winford and Stella Wilma Moore Willey.
She was a Christian. Sandra was a 1972 class graduate of Berkeley Springs High School.
She was a homemaker to her husband, children and grandchildren. Sandra enjoyed reading, playing on her computer, crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren.
Sandra is survived by her husband of 48 years, Douglas G. Ottaviano, at home, her children, Eric Sean Ottaviano and Kelly Dawn Moon and her husband, Ryan, all of Berkeley Springs and Tiffany Lynn Heerd and her husband, Michael of Hedgesville, W.Va., three brothers, James Winford Willey of Needmore, Pa., John David Willey of Walkersville, Md. and Michael Benton Willey of Tennessee, six grandchildren, Adriana, Connor, Caleb, Greyson, Breelyn and Scarlet and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Virginia Mae “Suzie” Rankin and one brother, Edward Dennis “Denny” Willey.
Memorial services will be conducted at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs, W.Va., where the family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until service time. Burial will be private.
