The trial of a Hancock man accused of a 2022 murder is set to begin next Monday, May 6, at 9:30 a.m. in Washington County Circuit Court with Judge Mark K. Boyer presiding. The trial of Everett J. Allen is set to run through Friday, May 10.
Trials were set to in May 2022, February and October 2023, and March 2024, but have all been canceled.
Allen faces charges of first and second-degree murder and first and second-degree assault and is accused of murdering his roommate in the Hancock home they shared in March 2021.
Allen, 59 is currently incarcerated in the Washington County Detention Center in Hagerstown.
