Mary Martha Johnson
1941-2024
Mary Martha Johnson, age 82, of Hagerstown, Md., passed away Monday, March 25, 2024, at Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown.
Born Thursday, November 13, 1941, in Hancock, Md., she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Martha Gladhill Hull.
Mary was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church for over forty-eight years. She loved spending time with her family, especially all her grandchildren. She enjoyed watching her favorite football team, The Dallas Cowboys and professional wrestling.
Mary is survived by her three sons, Matthew (wife Amy) Johnson of Hagerstown, Md., Mark Johnson (companion Barbara) of Hagerstown, Md., and John “JJ” (companion Michele) of Clear Spring, Md.; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Reed Johnson who passed away in 1999; a son, Luke Johnson passed away in 2023; three brothers; and one sister.
Memorial service was held on Monday, April 1, 2024, at 11 a.m., at Mountain View Baptist Church, 12107 Walnut Point Road, Hagerstown, MD 21740. Pastor Sean Brumbaugh officiated.
