Marjorie Jean Clark
1933-2024
Marjorie Jean “Marge” Clark, age 90, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at her home while under the care of Hospice of the Panhandle.
Born November 2, 1933 in Martinsburg, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Leo and Mildred Rockwell O’Rouke.
She was a member of Trinity-Asbury United Methodist Church.
Marjorie was a 1951 graduate of Martinsburg High School.
Marge and her husband, Donald founded Clark’s Inc. in 1974.
She was a member of Alderton-Dawson American Legion Auxiliary Unit# 60 and was active with the Morgan County Chamber of Commerce.
Marjorie loved to travel and liked to entertain.
Marge is survived by her children, Donald Scott Clark of Berkeley Springs and Patricia Lynn Clark Unger of Myrtle Beach, S.C., two sisters, Cynthia Myers of Inwood, W.Va. and Patricia Dicecca of Fredericksburg, Va., three grandsons, Jason Clark, Lucas Unger and Joshua Steven Clark, three great-grandsons, Cameron, Zander and Leo, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Clark in 2006.
Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs, W.Va., with Pastor Chuck Bergen officiating. Burial was in Greenway Cemetery. The family received friends from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
