Hancock’s boys varsity basketball team stayed within striking distance of the Union Tigers of Mount Storm during last Wednesday’s game at home, but lost a second time to Union in the final tally, 52-42.
The Panthers closed out their season on the road on Tuesday, February 27 against the Southern Rams in Oakland.
The boys headed in the final court matchup with a 5-16 season record, looking to make the win column an even 6.
