The Union (Mt. Storm, W.Va.) Tigers felled the Hancock Panthers 52-16 during varsity basketball play in Mt. Storm on Saturday, February 17. The loss closed the Lady Panthers season with a record of 1-19.
On Thursday, February 15, Hancock kicked off a solid away game against the Forbes Road Cardinals, but struggled to match the Cardinals’ scoring as the Pa. team added 23 points in the third quarter alone. Hancock rallied in the fourth quarter, but took the loss 45-26 in non-conference play. Skyler Smith continued to show up as a top scorer, with 11 points on the board for Hancock. Keelyn Seal added nine points for the Panthers.
