Sheila Diane Richardson
1961-2023
Sheila Diane (Moats) Richardson passed away on December 6, 2023, at Meritus Medical Center.
Sheila was born on January 18, 1961, in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., to Leroy and Helen (Weller) Moats.
She was a 1979 graduate of Hancock High School. She loved animals and lighthouses.
She is survived by her husband, Mike Richardson, a daughter Jennifer Sensel. Stepsons Anthony (Andrea) Richardson, Jamie (Bethany) Richardson, and stepdaughter Lora (James) Beaver.
Sheila is also survived by two brothers, Eddie (Sylvia) Moats and Craig Moats.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Helen (Weller) Moats.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at 1 p.m. at Orchard Ridge First Church of God, 13642 Orchard Ridge Rd, Hancock, Md. 21750. Reverend Harry E. Strite will officiate.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Grove-Rogowski Funeral Home, 141 West Main St, Hancock, MD.
