Minnie Jane Crouse, 85, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Friday, December 1, 2023, at her home. 
Minnie was born on April 14, 1938, in Cross Junction, V a., the daughter of the late Dayton A. and Icy Puffinberger Omps.
She enjoyed reading, cook- ing and most of all being with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Minnie married Roy “Dean”Crouse on August 5, 1955, in Winchester, Va. Mr. Crouse died on August 8, 1997.
Surviving are two sons: Doug and John Crouse, both of Berkeley Springs; a daughter: Jody Crouse and daughter-in- law: Lisa Crouse, both of Berkeley Springs; a brother: William “Buck” Omps, of Cross Junction, Va.; five grand- children: Nichole O’Neal, Brandi, David, Christine and Dean Crouse and three great-grandchildren: Meranda Haynes, Chloe and Eli Fitz.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son: Dave Crouse; three brothers: Jerry Puffinberger, Pete and Donnie Omps; four sisters: Martha Puffinberger; Marie Grimes; Lola DeWease and Bessie Bauer.
A funeral service will be held at the Giffin Funeral Home & Crematory on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at 11 a.m. Officiating will be pastor Karen Adams. Interment will follow at the Salem Cemetery, Cross Junction, Va.
The family received friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 5, from 4-7 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Minnie Crouse to Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Lane, Kearneysville, WV 25430.
