John Joseph Glass, Sr.
1963-2023
John (Rosco) Joseph Glass, Sr., 60, born January 9, 1963, to Roger B. Glass, Sr., and Rose Marie Irvin Glass, passed away Saturday, November 11, 2023, at his home in Hancock, Md.
Rosco loved spending time with his family as well as hunting and fishing with his son, Johnny, and best friend, Wilbur Peck.
He was employed by Gloyd Construction for 34 years.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Roxann Divel Glass; mother-in-law, Phyllis Divel; two children, Amy Stotler (Damieon) and John Joseph Glass, Jr.; two grandchildren, Abbie Stotler and Chase Stotler; a Grandpuppy, Dozer; five sisters, Frances Ziler, Mary Hoopengardner, Joan Chaney (Rick), Patricia McCumbee (Rusty) and Barb Ensor (Elvis); and two brothers, Mike Glass (Bev) and Buddy Glass (Bobbie).
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Bill and Benny Glass.
The family will receive friends Thursday, November 16, 2023, 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., and Friday, November 17, 2023, 11 a.m.-12 p.m., at Grove-Rogowski Funeral Home, 141 West Main St., Hancock, Md.
Funeral service will be held at the funeral home Friday, November 17, 2023, at 12 p.m. Pastor Jeff Hawbaker will officiate.
