John Russell Robinson, Sr., age 77, of Kapolei, Hawaii passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday evening, July 11, 2023.
Born on December 20, 1945 to James Russell Robinson and Grace Agnes Snyder in Hancock, Maryland.
He graduated from Hancock High School.
He is survived by his wife Dianne J.K. Makaneole Robinson; sisters: Grace Budd, June Winters, Sharon Slonaker, Kay Lynch and Karen Willis; children: John “Rusty” (Brandi) Robinson, Roxanne (Siaosi) Meleiseā, Sterling Robinson, Stuart (Mandy) Robinson and Andrew (Harmony) Robinson; grandchildren: Thyme, Kauili, Teighlour, Saigey, Kayla, Ocean, Tia, Reef, Andrew Boy, Elika, Pahúanui, Ekolu and Danielle; great-grandchildren: Tristan, Kuu, Atticus, Jayden, Kaimana, Emily and Kayla-Kawai; many nieces, nephews and extended family members from the Robinson, Snyder, Makaneole, Flores, Requilman, Mao and Kalima families.
Services will be held Saturday, August 5, with burial on Monday, August 7 in Hawaii.
