Valerie Anne Roach, age 52, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at the Berkeley Springs Healthcare Center.
Born August 31, 1970 in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., she was the daughter of William Clyde Jackson and the late Nancy Jane Michael Jackson.
She was a Christian.
Valerie was a graduate of Berkeley Springs High School and continued her education at the International Beauty School in Martinsburg, W.Va.
She worked as a hair dresser at The Hair Wizard and Heidi’s HAIRLOOMS and later at the JC Penney Salon in Hagerstown, Md.
Valerie enjoyed gardening, working on arts & crafts, jewelry making, collecting crystals, music and taking care of her many pets.
In addition to her father, Valerie is survived by her husband, Mitchell Lee Roach, at home, her paternal grandmother, Phyllis Jackson, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Junior Jackson and her maternal grandparents, Robert L. and Mabel L. Michael.
