Craig Martin Yost

1964-2023

Craig Martin Yost, age 58, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at War Memorial Hospital.

Born October 23, 1964 in Morgan County, W.Va., he was the son of the late Lester Glen and Eleanor Mildred Coffman Yost.å

He was a graduate of Berkeley Springs High School.

Craig was a carpenter and had worked as a warehouse coordinator with Rayloc in Hancock, Md.

He loved being outdoors, especially hunting and fishing and tinkering around the house. Craig trained coonhounds and hunted them.

He was a member of Tonoloway Rod & Gun Club, Hancock, Md. and Eastern Panhandle Houndsman Association, Augusta, W.Va.

Craig is survived by his wife, Tillie Carlotta Silver Yost, at home, his children, Ryan Martin Yost and his partner, Kevin Green of Gerrardstown, W.Va., Kaytlynn Ann Yost and her fiancée, Eric Butts of Berkeley Springs and Justin Andrew Shives of Parkersburg, W.Va., two stepbrothers, Michael Swisher and Eric Swisher, both of Berkeley Springs, stepmother, Connie Sue Stotler Yost of Berkeley Springs, mother-in-law, Linda Lou Silver of Berkeley Springs, two grandchildren, Kaylee Nevaeh Butts and Izabella Ann Butts, both of Berkeley Springs and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Leslie Yost and his father-in-law, Thomas Edward Teetz.

Services and burial will be private.
